Director of Cybersecurity & Compliance
Martin Bocobo serves as the Director of Cybersecurity & Compliance at DataSoftNow, Inc., where he leads cybersecurity operations, regulatory compliance initiatives, and CMMC readiness programs for organizations within the Defense Industrial Base (DIB). Holding Tier 3 Clearance and serving as a Lead Certified CMMC Assessor (LCCA), Martin brings extensive experience in CMMC Level 2, NIST SP 800-171, DFARS, and broader federal cybersecurity compliance requirements.
In his leadership role, Martin oversees the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity and compliance programs designed to protect Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) while ensuring organizations achieve and maintain assessment readiness. He has successfully led end-to-end implementation efforts for all 110 CMMC Level 2 security requirements across complex hybrid environments, guiding organizations from initial gap assessments through full certification readiness.
Martin has played a key role in supporting multiple successful DIBCAC High Assessments and CMMC-related engagements, helping organizations establish mature, sustainable cybersecurity programs aligned with federal requirements and industry best practices. His expertise includes System Security Plan (SSP) development, governance frameworks, policy and procedure management, evidence collection, risk management, vulnerability management, and compliance program oversight.
Beyond compliance leadership, Martin possesses extensive operational cybersecurity experience, including ransomware recovery, incident response, threat detection and monitoring, Security Operations Center (SOC) operations, infrastructure hardening, and security architecture. His unique combination of technical expertise and regulatory knowledge enables him to bridge the gap between cybersecurity operations and compliance, ensuring organizations not only meet assessment requirements but also maintain strong, resilient security postures.
